Dr. Brad Henderson

My name is Brad Henderson, and I’ve been working as a veterinarian since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2021. Before starting at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Clinic, I was working as a mixed animal vet in rural Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I am very excited to take all that I’ve learned back to my home province of Ontario, where I’ll be focusing just on companion animals for now!

Over the last three years, I’ve developed a passion for preventative medicine, surgery, and a growing interest in alternative medicine. Most of all, my goal is to ensure that you and your pet both have a positive experience, one where you leave feeling happy, empowered, and with a greater understanding of your pet’s health care needs.

When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors hiking, walking with my dog, exercising, or just generally exploring. I also love to play guitar, read, watch movies, and go snowboarding in the winter. We recently welcomed a new baby to the family (to go along with the dog and two cats), so I’m spending lots of time playing with and tending to him lately. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and your furry friends when you come into the clinic!
